APPOINTMENT & CORONATION

​

She was formally appointed as Yeye Alaragbo Oodua by His Imperial Majesty Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja III, the revered Ooni of Ile-Ife and spiritual head of Yorubaland.

​

Her coronation took place on June 26, 2022, during the sacred Alaragbo Festival in Ilé-Ifẹ̀—marking her official installation into this esteemed role and affirming her responsibility in preserving and representing sacred cultural traditions.

SPIRITUAL LINEAGE & INITIATION

Born into a royal lineage in Osogbo, Yeye Alaragbo Oodua has devoted her life to spiritual service.

Her journey includes:

• Priestess of Ọ̀ṣun and Egbe Ọbatala since 1984

• Initiation into Olokun and Alaragbo in Togo

• Initiate of Ifá, Ṣàngó, and Ogboni in Ibadan

• Olori Abiye Ogboni (Agbaye)

• Yeye Ọ̀ṣun of Ibadanland

• Iyamode Oje of Ibadanland
